Russ hot lapping the Bruce Berger owned #26 Pinto Station wagon.  This particular car had quite a history, as the following year, Russ flipped the car on opening night, and broke his knee cap, sidelining him for the year. Then later in the following year the 26 came unglued from the trailer on the way home from the race track, and struck a tree in a field destroying the car for good.  The tree survived.
