Mac's granddaughter Shannon has carried on the McDermott #2 tradition and races Friday nights at the Glen Ridge Motorsport Park. Shannon and her #2M finished 10th in the 2008 Street Stock points with 1 heat race win, 7 top 10's and a top 5. We are sure grandpa Mac would be proud.
