The Back Story:

Top: My buddy Bobby Ely informed Me this is the great Schooch Schoonmaker in his final hurray at the Valley in the Orange Crate #20.

Second: The owner of the 0 car that Schooch had been running for, John Ryan, decided to give this ole racing thing a try and stepped behind the wheel of his own 0.  Schooch picked up the ride in the 111, and who would have ever thunk they’d team up again, this time on the track!  Seems as if Schooch got tangled up with another car on the high side of the track, John took the low road, but the 111 shot back across the track with this being the end result.  Looks like both boys nights ended a little early and had some work to do to be ready for the following race night.

Third: Things went a little better on this night for John and the 0 team, as evidenced by the checkered flag

Fourth: Schooch and Link Pettit got into a little on track tussle back in ’62, with the end result being Link on top of the hood, and John and the 0 crew with a lot of work to do.

Fifth: Scootch in a car many LV fans can remember him being in, the familiar red and white #48.
