The Back Story:

Top Photo: What a great looking, Rick Fieden lettered machine Mitch Poole brought to the Valley every Saturday Night.  Mitch was a very consistent runner, but was never able to capture that elusive first victory.  One has to wonder what Mitch is up to these days.

Second Photo: In what must have been one of his first cars, Mitch Poole takes it to the high banks in his familiar orange and blue #17’s in the the sportsman division.

Third Photo: Mitch heads down the backstretch at Syracuse in a big block modified during the running of the annual Labor Day race at the mile.

Fourth Photo:  Mitch was proud to display his sharp looking #17 at the annual Racerama car show in W. Springfield, and made no bones about how things were going to be handled should you attempt to mess with his ride.
