The Back Story:
OK. In this photo, the driver may have been John "Dynamite" Courant, we are not sure. George Turner, Larry Turner's dad drove this car in 1953 or 54. The reason for Larry's L37. I placed a comparison photo to show why L37. This was a 1937 Cadillac LaSalle sedan like the top photo only a 2 door. The roof was cut and bent down most likely for aerodynamics (too tight). The 'L' was for LaSalle and the 37......... you've got it. Boyd Coddington would be amazed.
