The Back Story:

Ed Forfa sent in this awesome photo of George in his #7 on an opening Sunday afternoon win at Lebanon Valley, circa 1954.

We thought Ed was George's son and were contacted by George's daughter Charlotte Forfa Wilson telling us that Ed is her cousin, Georges nephew.

Thanks Ed and Charlotte. We would love to know more.

Bottom Photo: Sent to us by Helen Forfa, George's youngest daughter. Helen told us her brothers George and Joe put the eyeball decals on the car and painted the red C-8.

Thank you Helen.

George Forfa's son George sent us a comment on the Bottom Photo: I know that the year was 1962 . I can tell from the dents in the car . The rear deck got crumpled in early 1962 . The C-8 was the first car that I ever actually worked on . I helped change out the entire driveline in 1961 . My dad had a thing for replacing everything important with heavy truck parts.
