The Back Story:
Top: A very personal favorite here. Dudley owned and drove this famous fuel injected, small block modified in the early 80's. Second: Tom Corellis, in the white firesuit, also drove this little beauty at Albany Saratoga Speedway on Friday nights in Malta New York. The popular team of Dick Williams and Bill Kingsley were the wrenches and Denny Raspuzzi the engine builder. Denny Raspuzzi was well known for his engines building engines for Dickie Larkin, John Hewitt, and Todd Wilkinson to name a few. Unfortunately, Denny passed away December 8, 2001 at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington MA.
Third: That is Dud
all the way on the right, but not sure if Dud was driving this night (He
owned the car) or T.C., I’m thinking T.C.
Also in the picture, from left to right, Dick Williams (dark glasses
on) who is still present every Sat. night with J.R. Heffner, Denny Raspuzzi next him (He built the
motor), and next to Dud is Billy Kingsley.
I’m also thinking that is Donnie Corellis in
front of the #28
