1971 was the year that saw “Bad" Buzz Hankey of Sheffield Mass driving a car co-owned by Ron Bassett of Sheffield.

Buzz still drives on the STAR Vintage Modified Circuit in New England in a 55 Chevy Full fendered stockcar. He had also piloted Goober Scheidels old #111  on the vintage circuit for many years as well.  At 75+, his last feature win was in 2010 at Twin State Speedway .
