The Back Story:

 Longtime LV fixture and regular visitor of LVC Bill Chuckta sent in a couple of photos from back in the day when he tried his hand at the high banks.  Many of today’s racers are familiar with Bill’s brother, Pete, the fabricator of the potent PMC race chassis that have done so well at the Valley for the past few years.  We let Bill tell his story about the pictures he sent in…

“I ran mod a few times in 1974 and sportsman in 1975. Lebanon Valley & Cairo were the two tracks I went to. Had the help of Walt McKay but couldn’t make a go of it.  Sold the car at the end of 1975.  Decided just to work on them.”

Thanks Bill C.

Third:  LVC regular Bill Chuckta shared with us his most recent project, which we must say, came out well, He wrote us;

“Hi Guys, I have been busy, I decided to give racing another shot after 37 years of helping everyone else. Here's some pic's of my new car. P.M.C. Chassis with my sportsman engine.”

Wonder why Bill decided to use a PMC chassis?  We wish you luck Bill!
